We Advocate for You

Filing a claim can be stressful. Turner Florida Insurance is here to help you navigate the claims process and communicate with your carrier.

How to File a Claim

1

Ensure Safety First

Make sure everyone is safe. If there is immediate danger, call 911. Do not enter a structurally damaged building.

2

Document the Damage

Take photos and video of all damage before making any repairs. Document everything — inside and outside.

3

Prevent Further Damage

Make temporary repairs to prevent additional damage (tarping a roof, boarding windows). Keep all receipts.

4

Contact Your Carrier

Call your insurance company's claims line (on your ID card) or file online. Have your policy number ready.

5

Call Us — We Advocate for You

Call Turner Florida Insurance at (321) 482-5734. We will help guide you through the process and advocate on your behalf.

6

Work with the Adjuster

An adjuster will be assigned to inspect the damage. You have the right to get your own estimate and dispute the adjuster's findings.

Carrier Claims Contacts

Your claims number is also on your insurance ID card and policy documents. If you can't find it, call us.

You can dispute the insurance adjuster's findings. We can help you navigate this process.

Florida law requires insurers to acknowledge a claim within 14 days and pay or deny within 90 days.

You may be entitled to Additional Living Expenses (ALE) if your home is uninhabitable during repairs.

Florida has a 3-year statute of limitations on property insurance claims. Do not delay filing.
